This ex-voto painting was sent in by Thomas E. McKiernan. He received it from a German friend of his - and was found in a small church/chapel in Seelisberg, Switzerland where he has a vacation home and attends Sunday Mass. He told me, in 1903, likely when the heavenly favor was received, the only way to get to this little church was by foot or horse/buggy. There was no road to the church. Here is a link to the chapel.
